Today I have an awesome and easy recipe for you! This is one of Zach and my favorite and staple meals. We found this recipe on pinterest and decided to try it out for ourselves! We don’t really follow a specific recipe anymore as we have tweaked it and made the recipe our own. I hope you try this meal out…you will definitely fall in love with it!

Cut the green pepper into small pieces (remove the insides)

IMG_1118Then chop up the pieces with a food chopper into smaller pieces. You can do this by hand as well but the chopper makes it a whole lot easier!

Repeat the same process with the onion as you did with the green pepper.

IMG_1162Once all the ingredients are in the skillet, cover again with a lid and let it cook. You want the smoked sausage to cook all the way through and brown some. It takes around 7 or 8 minutes.

Once everything is cooked you want to sprinkle around a 1/4 cup of the shredded cheese on top (don’t mix in) and let it melt.

That’s it! What’s great about this recipe is that you can easily adjust it to the size of your family. So, you just add more ingredients to make the recipe serve more.

Again, I hope you try it out! Let me know if you do πŸ™‚
